This week’s super-sized, super-cool cut of the week demonstrates several incredible capabilities of the waterjet cutting technology housed at Exact Cut. The design, cut out of ½” Aluminum, features extra-long, straight lines which make it particularly difficult to cut manually. The material is one that could not be cut using our Laser and would also be hard to cut with plasma. As such, an ideal cutting solution was to use the waterjet which can handle both the twelve-foot, perfectly parallel cuts, as well as the material choice. Big cuts like these require BIG machinery to complete the job but with cutting coverage of 6’ x 12’, we had it covered and were able to turn this cut around for 1 day pick up!
