Cut on: Waterjet

Our Cool Cut this week are these 2 pieces of aluminum with intricate designs that were cut on our Waterjet machine. The process to produce these pieces include several steps. First, our Waterjet machine cuts the designs. Second, after the machine finishes cutting, Oscar (our Waterjet expert) washes off the abrasive. Third, Oscar and Zane (our summer intern) takes off the extraneous pieces. Last, Oscar gives the finished product a final rinse before taking it off the machine.
